Since 2013, riders have gathered in Laona, WI (population 400) to explore the hidden gravel and test their grit in the heart of the Nicolet National Forest. Whether you are a curious first-timer or seasoned gravel veteran, there’s a route and an adventure waiting for you. 2025 Bear 100 Routes: 31, 61, 80 and 113-miles. The Laona Rescue Squad has been providing route support since 2014. They know the Nicolet National Forest and help keep you safe. In return, 100% of the proceeds from the events go to the Laona Rescue Squad. The funds raised are used to purchase equipment, supplies, and training which help them save lives in the community year-around.
