DESCRIPTION:Confirmed- \nThe first Iceman Cometh Challenge started in 1990. Since then\, the race has grown to the country’s largest single day\, point to point mountain bike race in the United States! This bucket list race features categories for all age groups as well as tandem\, single speed\, and fat bike catagories and more. This race attracts pros from across the nation and around the world.The VonBuckinator will be located near the finish line. Our goal is to be set up and operating Friday so that we can wax chains pre-race. Hope to see you there!

DESCRIPTION:  \nThe Ironbull Red Granite Grinder is a premier gravel race. Per the website- “Ready for adventure? Our routes are designed to give riders the chance to explore the grit in the western portion of Marathon County on several gems that can only be accessed through this race.  Riders will fully experience Central Wisconsin by riding through areas not usually open to bikes through “featured sections” in addition to passing ginseng fields\, dairy farm pastures\, barns\, and farm fields in each the 50\, 85 and 144 mile races. This event is part of the Ironbear 1000 which highlights Wisconsin’s epic gravel. Bring friends & family for the weekend’s festivities”. Von Buck will be there with the VonBuckinator set up at the finish line to clean and wax bike chains

DESCRIPTION:The Old Fashioned Gravel ride/race new in 2024\, even better in 2025! We are fortunate enough to have some of the best gravel riding in the Midwest and have put together four routes to show off the local terrain. As with all of our rides\, we offer a little bit of everything and welcome EVERYONE from novice riders to the most seasoned racers. The focus of the ride is to bring like-minded individuals together for a great ride\, but we will have professional timing so if you want to race we will have you covered too! Routes that will satisfy all of your gravely desires\, and a post-ride gathering with food\, drink\, and hangs with new friends. Awards\, raffle\, and prizes (everything from ridiculous to awesome) to follow the ride!

DESCRIPTION:The Apple Blossom Bike Tour is an annual ride held in La Crescent\, MN\, and hosted by the La Crescent Rotary Club. Each year\, more than 100 cyclists participate in this event\, which takes them on 1 of 6 possible routes through the beautiful Apple Blossom Valley region. \nThe ride has options for everyone\, ranging from the most challenging routes for serious cyclists to short & scenic routes for families and children. The event is sponsored by local business\, charities\, and individuals with the main goal of bringing together our community and serving important charitable causes. \nWe are very excited and pleased to welcome you to the 2025 Apple Blossom Bike Tour\, which will feature more riders than ever before\, carefully crafted routes\, and the opportunity to visit and enjoy one of Southeast Minnesota’s most beautiful regions. To help raise money for the LaCrescent Rotary Club the VonBuckinator will clean and wax your bike chain for a small donation.

DESCRIPTION:The VonBuckinator at the The Lutsen 99er\nThe North Shore is calling…\nThe Lutsen 99er movement continues\, high above the shores of beautiful Lake Superior. This 99-mile course (69-\, 45- and 29-mile options also offered) takes advantage of the scenery and topography of Minnesota’s North Shore. \nWe will start at Superior National Golf Course\, in Minnesota’s Sawtooth Mountains overlooking majestic Lake Superior\, as we begin a fantastic Category 3 climb. Once over the ridgeline\, the course takes advantage of the glacially sculpted terrain\, rolling hills\, and numerous lakes and streams at the southern range of the Boreal Forest. You will be riding on sections of road and trail that see as much moose traffic as people traffic at any given time. \nLittle Niner Kid Races will also be held\, making the Lutsen 99er a family affair!

They know the Nicolet National Forest and help keep you safe. In return\, 100% of the proceeds from the events go to the Laona Rescue Squad. The funds raised are used to purchase equipment\, supplies\, and training which help them save lives in the community year-around.
